In the same state where Daunte Wright was fatally shot by a policeman, a white man drives away from cops, dragging an officer and hitting him with a hammer, but is not shot.

Luke Alvin Oeltjenbruns declined to wear a mask at a home improvement store in Hutchinson, Minnesota, and reportedly assaulted an employee with a piece of lumber before leaving. He was subsequently apprehended in a mall parking lot by cops.

Cops seemed to have Oeltjenbruns cornered and one cop was even hanging onto to the driver’s side door — but, as you can see in the video, he rammed two police cars and drove away  with the cop still gripping his truck.

Oeltjenbruns allegedly pulled the officer around and beat him in the head with a hammer before coming to a stop, according to Hutchinson PD. He was charged with first-degree assault causing serious bodily harm.
