According to authorities, a Las Vegas man stabbed a 4-year-old girl 11 times at his home last Thursday.
According to a Metropolitan Police Department arrest report, Alan Wilson, 28, was arrested the same day after leaving the residence where he and about five relatives were gathered. Wilson, according to witnesses, approached the 3-year-old and began stabbing her. Wilson’s relatives attempted to take the knife from him as he repeatedly said, “I need to get the demons out of her.” “I have to save her.”
According to the report, the child was stabbed seven times in the back, once in the armpit, once in the hand, and twice in the arm. She had 3 surgeries to repair an artery, her kidney, and her spleen.
The guy who called 911 stated that his stepson stabbed his granddaughter. The report did not specify whether the girl was Wilson’s daughter.
Police tracked Wilson’s cellphone and apprehended him within an hour of the stabbing, according to police.
According to court records, Wilson is charged with attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon.
Wilson was still being held in jail on $250,000 bail on Wednesday, according to jail records. He is scheduled to appear in court this week.
