Authorities in North Carolina have arrested the man accused of killing a Pennsylvania mother of six in a road rage incident that happened a week ago.

Dejywan Floyd, 29, of Lumberton, was arrested at an apartment complex, according to a news release from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.

On March 25, Julie Eberly, 47, was in the passenger seat with her husband. The Pennsylvania couple was on their way to Hilton Head Island to commemorate their wedding anniversary.

According to the sheriff’s office, an unexpected road rage incident occurred when the victim’s GMC Yukon came dangerously close to Floyd’s Chevrolet Malibu during a lane merge. Floyd then reportedly pulled up alongside Julie Eberly’s passenger seat, rolled down his window, and fired several shots into the passenger door.
