Shocking & Disturbing Video Shows Man Brutally Attacking Women and Dragging One in Manhattan (Image: Screenshot/PIX11)
A shocking video was released late Monday by the NYPD revealing another attack on a tourist, which appears to be a troubling pattern in New York City.
According to police, a man approached two women on West 15th Street. While attempting to steal her pocketbook, he snatched one and threw her against a scaffolding pole, then onto the pavement.
The man then struck the second woman in the face before a bystander tried to intervene and the assailant retreated on foot, westbound on West 15th Street.
According to authorities, the first woman had significant gashes to the back of her head, while the second woman sustained bruises to her face.
Both victims were sent to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries.
