Angela Simmons’ ex-fiance was murdered, and the man convicted of his murder was sentenced to life in prison and she gave an emotional speech to the court just before the sentencing.

Angela talked about her and the late Sutton Tennyson’s 5-year-old son, asserting he continuously asks her when his father will return.

She told the judge that she was constantly crying because she knew how excited Sutton was about raising their child, and that her son would always wonder what it would be like to grow up with a father.

Sutton is gone, but not forgotten, according to Angela, and his son, who shares his first name, will carry on his legacy.

Michael Williams was given a life sentence for the murder, plus an additional 15 years for having a firearm while a convicted felon. After serving a minimum of 30 years in prison, he will be eligible for parole.

Angela’s fiancé was found dead in his garage with numerous gunshot wounds in 2018. He was shot while talking with some other man in the driveway, according to police.

Williams was arrested a few days later and charged with eight counts, including murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and firearm possession.
