After pleading guilty last year, one of the drug dealers who supplied fentanyl-laced pills to Mac Miller received his sentence, and he’ll be in prison for a long time.

After pleading guilty to one count of distributing fentanyl in November, Ryan Reavis was sentenced to ten years and eleven months in prison. The sentence is longer than Reavis had requested (5 years), but it is less than the 12.5 years sought by prosecutors.

Remember, the feds claim that Reavis delivered the lethal oxycodone pills to Mac’s alleged drug dealer, Cameron Pettit, on orders from Stephen Walter, who recently pled guilty to fentanyl distribution. Reavis claimed in court on Monday that he was only acting as a go-between.

More importantly, he stated he had no clue the pills he was distributing were fake. Despite this, the judge appeared to have imposed a fair sentence — but only after hearing from Mac Miller’s mother, Karen Meyers.

“He would never knowingly take a pill with fentanyl, ever. He wanted to live and was excited about the future. The hole in my heart will always be there.”

To put it another way, she claimed that the alleged dealers/suppliers in this case were solely to blame for his death.

Reavis was first apprehended in Arizona in 2019, where authorities say they discovered a fake doctor’s notepad on which he allegedly filled prescriptions. They also claimed to have discovered firearms and drugs, including prescription medications and marijuana.
