Mariah Carey’s Atlanta home was burglarized in July, while she was on vacation in both Capri, Italy and the Hamptons, according to Page Six.
The break-in has been confirmed by police, but because “this is still an open investigation, the information may be limited,” they say. What was taken is unknown.
In November 2021, a trust that shared the same name as multiple other Carey assets and business interests purchased the $5.65 million dollar mansion. The pool, tennis court, and playground are all part of the nine-bedroom, 13-bathroom estate.
Meanwhile, Carey was in Italy last month with her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka and her twins Monroe and Moroccan.
Pictures of the family hanging out on a yacht and prancing in the sea appeared all over the world wide web, possibly notifying thieves that the house would be empty. She documented her trip on Instagram.
On July 27, the burglary was reported to police.
