Mass Stabbing In Vancouver Leaves One Dead And 6 Injured

A suspect has been arrested by police in North Vancouver, British Columbia, following a mass stabbing at a library that injured six people.

Just after 1:45 p.m., police were called to the Lynn Valley Library in North Vancouver, and a spokeswoman for emergency health services said first responders transported six patients to the hospital.

Police said one person had died, but it was unclear whether the attacker or one of his victims had died as of Saturday afternoon, according to Global News.

According to Justin Prasad, who works at a credit union across the street from the library, police may have used rubber bullets to shoot the suspect, who was taken away in an ambulance. Authorities have not released any details about the affected people or the suspect.
