Tuesday, a Massachusetts man appeared in court after allegedly threatening to commit a school shooting via Facebook.

Justin Moreira, 29, of Hyannis, did not identify a particular school, and authorities did not find a gun in his residence; however, he was ordered to be held on high bail and is charged with two felonies.

Moreira has been charged with one count of silencer possession and one count of terroristic threats.

According to court papers, the threat was noticed by an individual who did not know him but saw the Facebook post.

“I hate you all so much. If you see me on the news for a school shooting 57 students and teachers injured, or one pops up and never becomes solved, don’t be surprised,” Moreira posted on Facebook.

The bail was set at $100,000 cash.
