A Memphis woman is being held in custody after police say she shot a bullet into a house full of children, their grandmother, and the woman’s ex-boyfriend.

The bullet struck a sofa were a baby was sleeping. Although no one was injured, Krystal Dansberry, 23, is charged with 6 counts of aggravated assault.

Dansberry, according to detectives, was looking for her ex, who was at the home on Steele Street in Frayser on May 11.

Dansberry was reportedly upset because he no longer desired to be with her. According to police, she fired a shot from a pistol at the house while he was sleeping upstairs.

According to police, the bullet passed through the house and struck a sofa where a 2-year-old was sleeping. At the time, the other children in the house ranged in age from 2 to 9.

Dansberry is due in court on Thursday.
