Archie Eversole, the “We Ready” rapper, was shot in the jaw while sleeping, shortly before succumbing to his wounds, according to cops.
According to the police report, Archie told officers that someone kicked open his room door and he was awoken on March 25 by a gunshot to the face, but he didn’t notice who shot him.Embed from Getty Images
According to the documents, authorities then inquired as to whether the gunman was still in the residence, to which he gestured yes. Cops say they started asking Eversole if he realized who it was but he refused to respond, and he then started to fade in and out of consciousness.
Archie was rushed to a hospital and tragically passed away on April 3. Police believe the gunman was his brother, Alexander Krause.
Cops discovered fresh blood surrounding the front door and a bloody trail leading up the stairs to Eversole’s room, in which the blood-spattered door had been broke through and there was also blood across the bed, pillows, and wall.
According to the report, Krause originally stated to officers that he was okay and was simply trying to check on his brother, despite the fact that police noticed blood on his socks. Additionally, he informed police that he was limping due to a blister on his foot.
As previously reported, Krause has been charged with murder and is being held in DeKalb County.
