A new video appears to show Jada Pinkett Smith chuckling after her husband, Will Smith, smacked comedian Chris Rock at the Academy Awards on Sunday.
The video, which was captured by a member of the Oscars 2022 audience seated just two rows from the stage, ended up going viral on social media Wednesday night, garnering over 350,000 views.
After hitting Rock, Smith can be seen stomping off the stage and simply sitting in his seat in the video.
“Wow, Will Smith just smacked the s–t out of me!” Rock then makes a remark, and the footage appears to show Pinkett Smith’s head leaning forward, laughing.
The Smiths have yet to comment on the recently unveiled video.
Meanwhile, a different viral video shows Rock looking distraught and ashamed on the Oscars stage after being slapped by Smith.
The comedian has a mournful expression on his face and appears to be lost in thought as he clutches the Oscars statuette, prompting one observer to speculate that he was “in a deep state of humiliation.”
