Tarik Cohen of the Chicago Bears posted a message on Monday after it was determined that his brother died by electrocution at a North Carolina electrical substation over the weekend.

Tyrell Cohen, Cohen’s twin brother, was discovered dead at a Duke Energy substation in Raleigh. According to police, he died while attempting to climb power equipment at the substation.

I lost my brother , my twin, myself . What a great man he was . I’m glad i got to express just how much i love him while he was here. God truly calls home the best and most worthy. I’ll just miss him forever. I got Riah and Trini Tyrell i swear to god .

Cohen went missing on Saturday night after failing to return home, according to WRAL.

Deputies responded to the Duke Power substation near Lead Mine and Six Forks roads shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday, according to Wake County Sheriff Gerald Baker, after an employee uncovered a man’s body inside the substation’s perimeter. Cohen died as a result of electrocution while attempting to climb some of the equipment.

According to a spokesperson for the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, a t 2 a.m. Saturday, Cohen was engaged in a single-car crash near I-540 and Six Forks Road.

According to Raleigh Police Department personnel, he left the scene and investigators were unable to locate him.

When Cohen did not return home, family members reported it to the police, spurring them to continue their investigation on Sunday morning.

 Tyrell Cohen was 25-years-old.
