The Sinister Case of Khalil Wheeler-Weaver

Authorities announced this week that Khalil Wheeler-Weaver, a New Jersey man sentenced to 160 years in prison in October for the slayings of 3 women, has been officially charged in the 2016 disappearance and murder of a 15-year-old girl.

Wheeler-Weaver was convicted of the murders of two young ladies he met on the internet and for intimate relations in 2016, before taping or tying them up, sexually assaulting them, and killing them.

He was linked to the victims after a 4th intended victim managed to flee. In 2016, another victim mysteriously disappeared. According to the Bergen Record, her decomposed body was discovered in 2019 and she was identified in November as 15-year-old Mawa Doumbia of Newark.

Wheeler-Weaver is accused of strangling Mawa after meeting her online after arranging to meet in person.
