Ice Cube has complained that people are ‘mad’ at him for working with Donald Trump, despite claiming he got the president to commit to investing $500 billion into black communities without endorsing him.

The 51-year-old rapper revealed last month that he spoke with both Republicans and Democrats on his Black Economic Empowerment Plan, but faced a swell of public backlash when it was revealed he decided to work with the Trump administration.

‘Let me get this straight,’ Cube tweeted Thursday morning. ‘I get the president of the United State to put over half a trillion dollars of capital in the Black Community (without an endorsement) and N****s are mad at me?

Late last month, the NWA rapper said that the Biden campaign planned to work with him on the Platinum Plan after the election, and Trump’s campaign showed more actual interest. The musician said he decided to sit for three hours with Trump adviser Jared Kushner to go over the proposal.
