NYPD Officer Set to Plead Guilty Over Alleged Plot to Kill Her Husband & Her Boyfriend's Teen Daughter

Valerie Cincinelli, an NYPD cop charged with paying her boyfriend to kill her ex-husband, struck a plea deal with federal prosecutors, revealed Friday.

“It’s the government’s understanding from conversations with defense counsel that we have reached an agreement for a plea in this matter,” Assistant US Attorney Catherine Mirabile said.

She is facing a maximum of 10 years after being charged with two counts of murder-for-hire and one count of obstruction.

She is accused of paying her boyfriend John DiRubba $7k to find a hit man in 2019 to kill her estranged husband, Isaiah Carvalho Jr., and DiRubba’s teen daughter.

After DiRubba was caught for another crime, he admitted to the crazy murder-for-hire scheme and started working as a confidential informant for the FBI, wearing a wire to catch Cincinelli’s admissions on tape.
