The man accused of taking down his pants and urinating all over a snack rack is expected to be arrested soon. According to Detroit police, he and the two other perpetrators in the video were apprehended Tuesday afternoon as a result of public tips.
Last weekend’s chaos at this Amoco station on Detroit’s east side, off Warren, was caused by a denied debit card. After the man in the hoodie urinated on a snack rack, his companions indulged themselves, even taking the filthy ones on the floor.
Before leaving, he drew his pants down again to show the clerk his whole a**. The entire incident was captured on Green Light cameras and was being monitored by Detroit Police.
“If he thinks this is a joke we will be seeing him pretty soon,” said Deputy Chief Eric Ewing, Detroit police.
Ewing was correct. On its DetroitRewards.TV website on Tuesday, DPD offered a $750 bounty for more info on these individuals. It succeeded; tips began to stream in, leading authorities directly to the perpetrators.
Aside from the public embarrassment, these people are facing significant accusations.
“Malicious destruction of property, some retail fraud and urinating in public,” Ewing said.
