Three Colorado high school students re-enacted George Floyd’s killing, with one student dressed in blackface, and their principal resigned as a result of the outrage.

The male students are from Mead High School in Longmont, according to KCNC-TV, a CBS-affiliated television station licensed to Denver. They chose to ridicule a Black man, a casualty of excessive use of force, and will go unpunished because the now-former principal, Rachael Ayers, resigned.

According to Ayers, their acts do not reflect the school as a whole. She resigned from her position after 12 years on Monday.

The event was captured on Snapchat, with two white students kneeling on a black-faced white boy with the phrase “Bye-bye seniors.”
