A bus carrying 15 students to a private all-girls high school in Lakewood was involved in a three-vehicle collision Tuesday morning, leaving the bus on top of a car that rolled onto its side.
According to Lakewood police, one of the vehicles struck was unoccupied, and the circumstances of the crash are being investigated.
The bus was on its way to Bais Shaindel, a religious school in the township about two miles from the crash site. Some students returned home with their parents, while others proceeded to school on a different bus. Many people were inspected by paramedics, but there are none that needed to be taken to the hospital, according to Michael Inzelbuch, an attorney for the Lakewood School District..
