R. Kelly's Lawyers Beg Judge To Let Him Out Of Prison Solitary
R. Kelly is asking a federal judge to spring him from solitary confinement, saying he’s being deprived of sunlight, TV, email, candy, rooftop basketball games and “meaningful interaction with other humans.” In an emergency motion filed Thursday, Kelly’s lawyers claim the accused sex trafficker hasn’t violated any rules at the Chicago lockup, so it’s not fair he’s marooned in the facility’s most punitive Special Housing Unit with “zero privileges.”
