A minor is accused of causing a major car accident in Colorado on Friday.
According to CBS Colorado, the initial investigation found that a 13-year-old girl took her parents’ Chevy Suburban without their knowledge and caused a four-vehicle crash in eastern Boulder County that involved a school bus.
The young teen hit two other vehicles before colliding into the bus, CSP Master Trooper Gary Cutler stated.
According to the news channel, the bus had just begun its route, and one student was on board at the moment of the crash, but he was unharmed.
Four people were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. According to KUSA 9, a 66-year-old man involved in the accident suffered moderate injuries.
The girl was released to her parents and will be summoned to court.
