Timothy Granison, Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren’s husband, pleaded not guilty to narcotic and weapon charges in correlation with a massive and long-running local drugs investigation on Thursday.
New York State Police performed a search warrant at Mayor Warren and her husband’s home following a traffic stop in the city on Wednesday.
Granison, 42, was eventually booked into the Monroe County Jail after the search warrant was executed and arraigned in Rochester City Court on Thursday morning.
Granison was freed on his own recognizance by the judge because bail is not authorized on these accusations. He is scheduled to appear in court again on June 21 at 10 a.m.
Granison’s arrest, according to Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley, was part of a large law enforcement investigation into narcotics in the City of Rochester.
