After being arrested for car theft, a woman was scheduled to appear in court in Dublin, California on Monday.

How did she get to her court date?

According to Dublin police, the 41-year-old woman identified as Brandy Jones used another stolen vehicle to get to her appearance in court. Jones was driving to the East County Hall of Justice.

Authorities determined Jones was driving a stolen vehicle when she finally showed up at the Dublin courthouse.

Authorities immediately returned the woman to Santa Rita Jail, which was only less than a mile away.

Public Announcement: When making a court appearance after being arrested for stealing a car, DON'T show up in another stolen car.
