Pepsi Maple Syrup Cola is an official collaboration between Pepsi and IHOP! This new soda will not be sold in retail stores.
Surprisingly, it will not be available at any IHOP locations. Instead, in what has become a common promotional strategy, these “highly limited-edition” sodas will only be available via a social media giveaway.
Now till March 29, soda fans are asked to post a picture or clip of a stack of pancakes on Instagram or Twitter, tagging @IHOP and using the hashtags #ShowUsYourStack and #PepsiSweepstakes.
Ultimately, 2,000 winners will earn a can, with Pepsi clarifying that “one consumer will also be surprised with a custom Pepsi Spout, inspired by the iconic IHOP syrup pitchers, that will produce the perfect pour to enjoy Pepsi Maple Syrup Cola.”
According to the product description, Pepsi Maple Syrup Cola combines “the indulgent flavor profile of maple syrup with the crisp, refreshing caramel notes of a Pepsi.”
The can is also noteworthy, with vibrant visuals of a shining cascade of maple syrup pouring down from the top.
