India Arie released clips of Joe Rogan continuously using the N-word on his Spotify broadcast, which she said prompted her to insist that her music be removed from the platform.

Following Neil Young’s move, India Arie said earlier this week that she would be removing her music and podcast from Spotify also.

Young and singer Joni Mitchell announced in January that they wanted their songs taken down due to COVID-19 vaccination misinformation, citing Rogan as an advocate of spreading false information.

The Grammy Award winner took to Instagram earlier this week to clarify her comments, posting over 20 video of Rogan using the N-word on his Spotify show.

Rogan acknowledged the clips in an Instagram video yesterday after they began to gain attention on social media.
