On social networks, there are reports that Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot is planning to resign after being caught cheating on her wife, First Lady Amy Eshleman.

The rumors started with a now-deleted tweet from Ja’Mal Green, a Chicago civil rights activist. “Lori Lightfoot is resigning tomorrow in a stunning end to her mayorship. WOW.”
