During a routine traffic stop, a man handed officers meth rather than his registration, which led to his arrest.

According to WBOY, officers stopped Roy Porter, 57, because his vehicle had an incorrect registration. Porter handed authorities a tiny paper packet, thinking it was his paperwork, but authorities say a small bag containing a “crystal-like substance” that fell out.

A K9 unit from the Bridgeport Police Department conducted a search of the area and discovered drugs in Porter’s vehicle.

Porter, as well as the single passenger in the vehicle have both been arrested after a half-pound of meth was discovered in their possession.
