Stolen 400-lb Playground Slide Found in Child's Bedroom

When a 400-pound playground slide suddenly disappeared, the police had to find out where it disappeared to. Envision when their investigation led to a child’s bedroom.

In December, somebody actually cut the slide off the playground in Burbank, Washington, KEPR reported.

According to KFFX, an investigation into stolen catalytic converters provided officials with the break they needed to solve the case of the missing slide.

Authorities said they found a possible suspect and received a warrant to search his property. Cops said they located the missing parts of the car as well as the slide on Feb. 26.

The missing slide was installed on a bunk bed in a child’s room in a Pasco, Washington mobile home.

A fresh coat of paint had been added to the slide.

According to KEPR, Dustin Bushnell has been charged with possession of stolen property in connection with the alleged theft of the slide.
