Tennessee Man Arrested For Using Barack Obama’s Name On Gun Permit Application

According to The Post, a Tennessee man reportedly fabricated the name of former President Barack Obama on an application for a handgun permit, a report said.

Chattanooga’s Robert Hallick was charged last Thursday for the illegal Jan. 21 order, WTVC confirmed.

According to an affidavit obtained by the outlet, Hallick is accused of using the name “President Barack H. Obama” after his original November request for a gun permit using his real identity was rejected because of an active arrest warrant in Michigan.

In the second application, he also sent a $50 check and a letter with the official United States of America seal.

The report said police charged Hallick with perjury, forgery and identity theft.
