According to police, a Texas teen has been charged with murdering a woman while she was visiting her son’s gravesite.

Christian Lamar Weston, 17, is being held without bond in the deadly shooting of Yolanda N’Gaojia, 52, as she remembered her son Amir on his 22nd birthday, according to Killeen police.

N’Gaojia was gunned down on March 22 at the Calvary Baptist Church Garden of Memories Cemetery, where another individual was also shot but did survive, according to police. N’Gaojia died from her injuries at the burial site just moments later, according to KXXV.

According to his obituary, N’Gaojia’s son, a native of New Jersey, died on New Year’s Day. He was one of the couple’s 3 kids, according to her ex-husband Kineh N’Gaojia.

“I hope he gets the death penalty,” Kineh N’Gaojia wrote on Facebook Saturday after police announced Weston’s arrest.
