A woman was arrested in Texas for attempting to bribe a deputy sheriff by offering sexual services.

According to a post by Harris County Constable Precinct 4, Dulce Ortiz, 21, was detained and charged with bribery.

On April 20, deputies responded to a crash in the 5900 block of James C. Leo Drive. According to a witness, a female motorist hit a curb, ran over a flower garden, and destroyed a neighborhood sign before taking off on foot.

Witnesses reportedly said that a man came at the crash scene and sought to take responsibility for it before cops arrived.

Ortiz, the female suspect, later returned to the scene, showing symptoms of intoxication. It was discovered that she was the one who had crashed the car.

According to the post, Ortiz attempted to bribe a male deputy by promising “sexual acts and cash” in return for being let go while being carried to the jail.

Her bail has yet to be established, according to the article.
