According to police, Latonya Marchea Brooks, 40, was arrested last month for her alleged role in the thievery of over $2,000 in meat from a local H-E-B in Temple, Texas.

Latonya Thomas, 53, her accomplice, is still at large, according to authorities.

On April 15, around 3:30 p.m., both ladies allegedly stole meat from the H-E-B in the 3000 block of South 31st Street. A store worker stated they had seen them leaving with a large amount of unpaid meat in a shopping basket and tried to prevent them from leaving, but they were able to remove the cart and stockpile the meat into their vehicle.

Last April, the video of the alleged incident, which reveals one of the women tossing lots and lots of meat into the trunk of a car. Even with the employee’s attempting to stop them, the woman keeps throwing meat into her car, as shown in the video below.

Brooks is currently being held in the Bell County Jail on a $2,000 bond. According to the Bell County Sheriff’s Department, she is charged with six counts of theft and one count of failure to identify fugitive intent.
