Waka Flocka says his former wife Tammy Rivera can’t do anything wrong in his eyes, and there’s always love between them, despite parting ways after 8 years of marriage.
The “No Hands” artist sat down table with Raq on the “It’s Tricky With Raquel Harper” podcast and opened up about his separation from Tammy for the first time publicly.
Waka says the former “Love & Hip Hop” star is still his bestfriend, and while he knows people often believe there’s some kind of conflict or horrible event behind a split, he swears it just ain’t so in their situation.
Waka claims they’ve simply grown apart, which is why they’re splitting up.
Raq questioned if there was any chance, they might work things out, and he didn’t want to go further into it — read that in anyway you want — but he did add Tammy could never make him dislike her.
He went on to say that their daughter Charlie, whom Tammy has from a prior relationship, is his greatest blessing. Charlie, according to Waka, taught him to enjoy life and made him feel like a role model.
Based solely on Charlie, he will always have feelings for Tammy.
ICYMI, Tammy opened up recently about their breakup on social media, posting… “I’ve been filming for the new show … it’s been pretty good this season … even though me and Waka not together, we still have this show.”
They’re more than capable of co-parenting and even co-working. What remains to be seen is the reconciliation.
