To commemorate rapper B.I.G.’s upcoming 50th birthday on Saturday, the MTA is giving away 50,000 commemorative MetroCards, according to PIX11.

On Saturday, the cards will be filled into MetroCard machines at four stations in The Notorious B.I.G.’s home borough of Brooklyn.

The Lafayette Avenue C station, the Clinton-Washington Avenue C and G stations, and the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station are all taking part.

MTA sources say those stations won’t guarantee commemorative MetroCards. New Yorkers can get a MetroCard instead of adding “mo money” to their existing cards.

Not only the MTA honors Christopher Wallace, born in Brooklyn. In partnership with Bad Boy/Atlantic/Rhino Records and Wallace’s estate, the Empire State Building will honor Biggie.

A life-size photo – realistic avatar of Biggie, who died in 1997 at the age of 24, will be featured in the Empire State Building Observatory Experience. The avatar will be visible to audiences on both Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

On Saturday, 15 minutes after sunset, the Empire State Building will glow red and white, with a spinning crown and the number “50” on the mast.

Lincoln Center will host a B.I.G. tribute this summer. The event will feature a concert symphony performance of Biggie’s songs from Ready to Die and Life After Death, with special guests and an extensive live set from regular B.I.G. collaborators. Lincoln Center’s website has ticket information.
