As a result of allegations of inappropriate behavior, Fred Savage has been fired from his role as executive producer on The Wonder Years reboot, according to US.

A spokesperson for 20th Television said in a statement to Deadline on Friday, May 6: “Recently, we were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Fred Savage, and as is our policy, an investigation was launched.”

“Upon its completion, the decision was made to terminate his employment as an executive producer and director of The Wonder Years.”

The 45-year-old actor received multiple allegations of misconduct during his time as a producer and director on the ABC series that premiered last fall. In the allegations, both verbal meltdowns and inappropriate behavior were stated.

The native of Illinois starred as Kevin Arnold in the original Wonder Years series from 1988 to 1993 before returning to serve as executive producer and director on the reboot.

Savage has not yet issued a statement regarding the allegations.
