According to WFLA, a 40-year-old Florida woman was hit with battery charges after shooting her neighbor with a water gun on Saturday, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

According to deputies, the victim was walking past the residence of Renee Bolduc of St. Petersburg when Bolduc started walking from inside her house to her porch and shot the neighbor in the face with a water gun.

According to officials, the victim never entered Bolduc’s property or made any combative statements to her.

The type of water gun used was not specified.

Buldoc sprayed the victim because she was upset that she was walking down “her street,” according to deputies.

She was arrested and was being held on a $500 bond.
