‘This is so embarrassing’ Woman Forced to Call 911 After Getting Stuck Upside Down on Gym Equipment

After becoming stuck upside down as she used an inversion table at the gym, a woman was forced to make an unflattering 911 call.

Christine Faulds, an Ohio native, posted a TikTok video of herself working out at the gym at 3 a.m. on August 29. She is seen in the viral video using an inversion table, which stops the body upside down to extend the spinal column and help ease back pain. Soon after, Faulds realizes her ankles have been locked into the device, and she is now suspended upside down.

Faulds can be heard hollering for another guy at the gym, Jason, who was working out in the weight lifting room but couldn’t hear her over the loud music. After attempting to release herself over several minutes, Faulds was left with only one alternative: dial 911.

She informed the dispatcher that she attempted getting her friend’s attention, but that he was in the other room strength training. “This is so embarrassing,” Faulds said. “I’m sorry, I’m just stuck.”

In another video, she shows a police officer rushing to her aid. “Oh dear lord, my ankles are burning. Just the easiest rescue ever,” she told the cop as he started turning the inversion table right side up. Following the 12-minute incident, Faulds discussed with her supporters that her head still felt like a “mild fuzziness” a day later.
