Tory Lanez was detained at a Las Vegas airport over the weekend, according to TMZ, after Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents allegedly discovered marijuana on his person.

The rapper, 29, whose real name is Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, was reportedly detained early Sunday morning at the travel hub after authorities allegedly discovered a “large” amount of marijuana in one of his bags, the outlet revealed.

Lanez was permitted to leave without the weed he was carrying after being temporarily detained, according to TMZ.

Following his alleged detention, Lanez shared a series of Instagram Stories promoting a gig he later booked for that night at Caesar’s Palace’s Drai nightclub.

“Vegasssss I’ll be in the f—ing city tonight!!!!!!’ he said in one post, as he added in another: “Vegasssss @DraisLV Letssss f— thiiissss upppppppp tonighhhttt.”
