A transgender woman, known as the Iconic Facce, has been been sentenced to 15 years in prison for robbing a bank in Mississippi to pay for plastic surgery in Mexico.
Jimmy Lewis (Iconic Facce), 39, robbed BancorpSouth on February 22, 2019. Facce told the bank teller, she had one minute to hand over the money or die.
She only got away with $4,800 and used that money to book a flight to Mexico. She went and got her cheeks done and also the “Michael Jackson” nose.
She tried to fly back in the country on March 30th without anyone being alerted but she must have forgotten that her face was swollen and had bandages all over it.
Authorities located her by tracking the cell she used the day after the bank robbery, then they kept an eye on her as she flew to Mexico and back.
Facce’s nose was still bandaged when she was taken into custody.
Lewis was accused of robbing banks in Alabama between June 2007 and January 2008 by passing threatening notes in Cleveland, Decatur, and Lenoir City, Tennessee.
She was apprehended in Los Angeles in 2008 upon arrival with a flight from Mexico after one of her aliases was discovered by border agents.
