Police say that two women who went to a man’s apartment in Florida and threw glitter at him during an argument are now facing a felony charge.

According to PIX11, Kaitlin O’Donovan, 27, and Sarah Franks, 29, were arrested Monday morning when they went to the man’s apartment just before 3am. They started fighting with him while standing on his fenced-in balcony.

According to Clearwater police, both women decided to throw a container of glitter at the guy during the argument. According to the arrest affidavits, the man was struck in the head and torso.

According to officers, Franks then scaled the balcony fence, entered the man’s apartment, and pelted him with additional containers of glitter. She then unlocked the front door, allowing O’Donovan to enter as well, according to the affidavit.

O’Donovan also threw additional containers of glitter at the man once she entered the apartment, police said.

According to police, Franks drove away from the apartment complex in a car that was later traced back to her residence. According to the arrest affidavit, the vehicle was still hot to the touch and contained glitter when police spotted it.

Both Franks and O’Donovan have been charged with felony burglary with assault or battery. Franks was also charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief for allegedly breaking a window as she exited the apartment.
