Video Captures Man Throw a 30lbs Dumbbell Through the Windshield of a Woman’s Car During Road Rage Incident

Houston police are still looking into a clearly evident case of road rage that occurred on Sunday near Tidwell and the Hardy Toll Road.

A motorist, who asked that her name and image not be used, says she was stopped at the crossing of Irvington and Tidwell near Sam Houston High School when her vehicle was rear-ended by a speeding vehicle, according to KHOU.

She says the guy in the SUV that struck her motioned for them to pull over and swap insurance details.

She says she pulled over and observed the other motorist turn around and pull off the opposite way.

According to the driver, she then decided to follow the vehicle to acquire his plate number. The SUV eventually came to a halt on a road near Veteran’s Memorial Park.

According to the woman, no comments or hand movements were communicated before the driver exited the SUV and decided to kick in her headlight.

She pulled out her mobile as he came back to his vehicle and said he then returned.

What ended up happening next is illustrated in the video she recorded on her phone.

The man can be seen exiting his SUV through the driver’s side door, opening the back door, and fetching what would seem to be a dumbbell, which he then hurls at her windshield.

As it burst through the glass, the woman’s windshield was shattered. In the video, she can be heard screaming as the man returns to his SUV and speeds away.

The woman expresses concern that nearly a week has gone by and the suspect, whose face is clearly visible in the video, has yet to be apprehended.

Police say they are still looking into the incident.

The driver says she was deeply affected by the encounter and is in pain as a result of the crash. Her car was damaged for more than $3,000, she states.
