Chief Elaine Bryant of the Columbus Police Department held a press conference on Saturday afternoon to address a video of an arrest at a gas station that went viral on social media.
The arrest of a man at a Speedway gas station in south Columbus, [, is shown in a one-minute and thirty-second video published on Social media on Friday.
“A 1:30 video does not depict what really happened,” Bryant said. “There’s more to than what happened in the video.”

According to Bryant, the individual, later identified as Shawn Hanna, 30, was disrespectful to the clerk and was ordered to leave the business.
The clerk summoned police aid after Hanna refused to leave.
According to court filings, a special duty officer at the petrol station requested Hanna to leave and attempted to escort him out, which resulted in a confrontation between the two.
The individual was allegedly detained with mace, according to police. He faces two counts of felonious assault and one count of criminal trespassing.
