Albany TV news anchor Heather Kovar stunned viewers over the weekend when she slurred her words and seemed untidy during an evening show — and the station notified The Post on Sunday that she had been suspended from her job.

The CBS 6 anchor seemed twitchy and wide-eyed during her Saturday segments and at times incomprehensible.

Speaking on the Oklahoma gas plant explosion, she began to stumble over her words.

“Well, hello! Good afternoon!” she remarked in a weird tone of voice during the report.

During the broadcast, she could be seen clutching a wire at one point because of technical difficulties. In the end, she was halted in the middle of her sentence.

The station said she was suspended pending further investigation.
