Robert Horry’s Heartbreaking Segment About Fearing For Son's Life As A Black Father
“Black men are an endangered species, pretty much. I have to tell my kids, ‘If you have to lay down on the ground and they can kick you, beat you, at least you go to the hospital and you can come home to me.’”
Horry lost a daughter, who succumbed at age 17 to a genetic disorder.
“I already lost one child,” Horry said. “I don’t need to lose another.”
The league deferred the other two games on schedule after the Milwaukee Bucks refused to take the court for their game against the Orlando Magic in the opener of a playoff tripleheader at the NBA “bubble” in Orlando , Florida.
NBA players held a group meeting on Wednesday night which could decide whether the playoffs will continue. It could mean the end of the NBA reboot season after the coronavirus pandemic interrupted the 2019-20 season.
