Wendy Williams’ show, according to Lovebscott, will end in June 2022. The producers informed the cast and crew of the show’s cancellation at the end of June, according to sources close to the team, and they promptly hired everyone from the cast and crew to work on their new Sherri show.

“The producers informed everyone that the [Wendy Show] was being canceled at the end of June. Then in the next breath they hired everyone to work on the new Sherri show.”

Sherri Shepherd’s deal has been confirmed, and the producers will replace Wendy Williams’ show with ‘The Sherri Shepherd Show,’ as previously reported. It was also reported that The Wendy Williams Show’s executives had been searching for a replacement for Williams for years.

A source revealed the reason for this, claiming that she was becoming increasingly complicated to work with. 

“[Wendy] had become somewhat unbearable, having tantrums and throwing things at people. Basically, the consensus among the crew is that she didn’t wanna be there anymore. Her illnesses may have exacerbated that feeling.”
