This is the shocking moment a group of teens and their parents beat up a basketball referee at a church athletic facility in Georgia, leaving him with 30 stitches.
Footage from the scene showed how the ‘Love of the Game’ event on Sunday afternoon at the Stronghold Christian Church in Lithonia, Georgia devolved into violence.
Three young basketball players from one team and 2 adults can be seen hunting down the referee and pinning him to the ground.
The group then proceeded to kick and punch the referee brutally, injuring him severely.
The referee was taken to a local hospital and given 30 stitches. According to TMZ, he is expected to make a full recovery.
The Dekalb County Police Department is investigating the violent attack. No one has been detained.
The referee, who was covered in blood, has yet to be identified.
