On Thursday, a 26-year-old woman was charged with criminal trespass for apparently jumping into the spider monkey exhibit at the El Paso Zoo last weekend, according to KTSM.

mone was arrested and put into the El Paso County Detention Center on a $1,500 bond.

Officials from the zoo announced earlier this week that they intend to file charges on Rae for violating security. They also said they’re looking into measures to avoid similar incidents in the future.

Before feeding the spider monkeys, the woman had to leap a fence, climb through bushes, and walk through a 4-foot-deep moat, according to El Paso Times.

According to a statement from the Lovett Law Firm, Rae was confirmed as an employee who had been fired. Mark T. Davis, Attorney at Law, a business in El Paso, said earlier this week that it had recruited the woman.
