
Following a criminal sexual conduct inquiry, a lady was arrested on 219 individual counts concerning one juvenile victim, according to FOX Carolina.
Janice Allen, 37, was thrown into the Oconee County Detention Center a day after surrendering herself to the Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla on Tuesday afternoon, according to the sheriff’s office.
Allen has been charged with 17 charges of criminal sexual behavior with a juvenile, in the second degree, as well as 202 charges of distributing harmful material to a juvenile.
According to the warrants obtained by WSPA, the victim was between the ages of 11 and 14.
According to the agency, an inquiry was launched on May 19 after a school police officer got word about claims of sexual assaults. The criminal investigations division was later assigned to this case.
The inquiry discovered that Allen and the victim had sexual contact between January 2020 and May 2021, according to WYFF.
Allen is being held on $542,000 bond.
