Woman Caught on Video Harassing Clippers' Norman Powell at Gym; Calls Him 'Not American'

The Los Angeles Clippers guard Norman Powell reported that a white woman told him he is “not American” in a Las Vegas gym.

According to footage obtained by TMZ, the 28-year-old NBA champion recorded the situation on Instagram Live, even catching the moment the woman in question was cuffed by police.

As of Wednesday morning, her identity remains unknown.

Powell stated in an Instagram Live clip that has since been shared on Twitter, “She came in here earlier talking noise and we sent her away and she came back, talking crazy, saying that we’re not American, which is pretty crazy to me.”

Powell was still filming the woman in what appeared to be the gym’s parking lot when police arrived on the scene. According to video footage published by TMZ, an officer placed the woman in handcuffs while she was seated on the ground and detained her against a police vehicle.
