Police in South Fulton say a woman was killed after her ex-boyfriend drew her into a “fight” with his current girlfriend, which turned out to be a setup.
The victim was identified as De’ja McCrary, and her 4-year-old son was in the vehicle at the time of her death, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at the turbulent Camelot Condominiums apartment complex, according to South Fulton Police Chief Keith Meadows.
According to authorities, McCrary’s ex-boyfriend, Colvin Lindsey, set her up for a “fight” with his new girlfriend, Teandra Brox. Aquala Barnes, another suspect in the situation, told investigators she texted McCrary about where they should meet.
McCrary was gunned down as she showed up at the apartment complex.
According to police, the 4-year-old was fine with minor scrapes.
Lindsey, Brox, and Barnes (center, right, and left in the photo below) have all been charged with murder and aggravated assault.
